PGI Valley of Atalanti (ΠΓΕ Κοιλάδα Αταλάντης)
In the district of Fthiotida, region of Central Greece, the PGI Valley of Atalanti (ΠΓΕ Κοιλάδα Αταλάντης) zone (est.1996) comprises the areas of Atalanti, Kalapodi and Megaplatanos in the Atalanti municipality at an altitude of more than 30 metres above sea level.
The Atalanti Valley, in an east/west direction, is delimited by the mountains of Knimida to the north and Rahes Galanou to the south. It offers an alternative and scenic route to Mount Parnassos, Arahova and Delphi via Elatia and Tithorea. The PGI Valley of Atalanti zone partially overlap with those in the PGI Slopes of Knimida and PGI Opountia Lokridos.

Red Wines: Vradiano, Limnio, Mavroudi, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carignan, Grenache Rouge, Merlot, Refosco, Syrah, Aglianico, Schioppettino.
Rosé wines: from the varieties that participate in white and red wines.
