PGI Slopes of Pendeliko (ΠΓΕ Πλαγιές Πεντελικού)
In the region of Attiki, the PGI Slopes of Pendeliko (ΠΓΕ Πλαγιές Πεντελικού) zone (est.1993), north of Athens, is delimited by the positions of Drosia, Anixi, Agios Stefanos, Agios Georgios, Vrana, Koukounari, Stamatovouni and Dionysos.
The vineyards producing PGI Slopes of Pendeliko wines are on the north-northeastern slopes of Mt. Pendeli -the origin of the marble used in the construction of the Parthenon.
Varieties
White Wines: Up to 80% Chardonnay and the rest Savatiano, Assyrtiko, Aidani Aspro, Athiri, Malagousia, Riesling.
