Tsantali (Agios Pavlos)
The Tsantali family has been creating wines and distilling tsipouro and ouzo since 1890. The family’s philosophy focuses on the creation of quality wines and distillates which respect the age-old tradition of the wine growing regions.
The Tsantali Winery has privately owned vineyards and wineries in Agios Pavlos Halkidiki, on Mount Athos, Rapsani on Mount Olympus, Naoussa and Maronia in Thrace.
With the rebirth of historical vineyards and varieties, with the adoption of biological and integrated viticulture, with a strong viticultural and oenological team and a complete sales force with exports in over 45 countries, the Tsantali Winery is the international leader in the effort of portraying the best of wines and distillates from Greece.
Approximately 55% of Tsantali annual production is exported to countries all over the world, such as U.S.A., Canada, Brazil, Australia, China, Russia and many more.
The privately owned main Tsantali Winery is situated in Agios Pavlos, in close proximity to the sea benefiting from the cooling Aegean breeze. The main grape varieties grown here are Sauvignon Blanc, Assyrtiko and Merlot.
The main Tsantali labels from the Agios Pavlos vineyards and the surrounding co-operative vineyards include “Halkidiki”, “Tsantali Organic Cabernet Sauvignon” and “Tsantali Organic Assyrtiko”.
