PGI Mount Athos (ΠΓΕ Άγιο Όρος)

In the district of Halkidiki, in central Macedonia’s southern part, the PGI Mount Athos (ΠΓΕ Άγιο Όρος) zone (est.1981) comprises the autonomous area of the monastic community of Mount Athosand the area of Ouranoupolis, in the Stagira Akanthou municipality.
