PGI Gerania (ΠΓΕ Γεράνια)

In the district of western Attiki (Attica), west of Athens and at altitudes of up to 200m, the PGI Gerania (ΠΓΕ Γεράνια) zone (est.2000) is set on the slopes of Mt.Gerania, which fall within the area of the Megara municipality. Winegrowing in Gerania, the mountain of myth and lore, is a traditional occupation with a long history.

Red Wines: Agiorgitiko, Carignan, Grenache Rouge, Merlot, Syrah
